Armada Praxis Yalıkavakspor's Youngsters in the National Squads

Youth players at the U20 and Technical Adaptation Camps

According to the Turkish Handball Federation's announcement, the squads for the Women's U20 National Team and the Women's Technical Adaptation and Scouting Camp have been named. Armada Praxis Yalıkavakspor again drew attention this season with the players they send to the national teams.

According to the published list, Çiğdem Nur Kurnaz, Leyla Tarhan and Melisa Sena Boz — young athletes from the club — were invited to the Women's Technical Adaptation and Scouting Camp to be held in Ankara on 12-14 December 2025.

Meanwhile Elif Tuana Öztaş, a young player developed in the Yalıkavakspor youth setup whose progress has won the approval of the coaching staff, was selected for the Women's U20 National Team camp squad to be held between 8 and 14 December. By continuing to send players into the national team pool at both first-team and youth level, the club continues to contribute to the development of Turkish handball.

“The youth setup is the backbone of our club”

Armada Praxis Yalıkavakspor club president Emin Palalı congratulated the athletes called up to the national teams and underlined the importance placed on the youth setup.

Palalı said:

“Having our athletes at both the U20 national team camp and the technical adaptation camp is a source of pride for us. At Yalıkavakspor we care not only about today but about developing the athletes of the future. For us the youth setup is not an option; it is the main backbone of our club.”

“One of our greatest goals is for girls in particular to grow up through sport and to gain self-confidence and discipline in their lives. Our work to bring more children in Bodrum to handball continues with determination. Every player we send to the national team is the reward for that effort.”

President Palalı wished all the athletes success and said the national team process was a great source of motivation for them.
