A Year-End Show from the Yalıkavak Spor Kulübü Gymnastics Academy: Applause for the Youngest

The year-end show of the Yalıkavak Spor Kulübü Gymnastics Academy was held with a large turnout at the Türkan Saylan Sports Complex. The show, in which athletes who have long been training in gymnastics took the stage, was watched with great interest by parents and by the people of Bodrum.
A Journey That Begins at Four, Brought to the Stage
The show, in which girls who first met gymnastics from the age of four displayed how they have grown and developed under the same roof, drew warm applause. The discipline, balance and elegance of the movements the youngest athletes performed showed the reward for a year of hard work.
Careful Preparation Behind the Training
The show was prepared following training led by coach Fatma Belkış and coordinator Daria Nozdrina. Throughout the programme, it was stressed that alongside the children's physical development, their self-confidence and sense of teamwork had also grown stronger.
President Palalı: “This club prepares them for life”
Speaking after the show, Yalıkavak Spor Kulübü president Emin Palalı said the club was more than a sporting venue, and that girls here are prepared for life with self-confidence, discipline and friendship. Palalı thanked everyone who supported this work, and also thanked youth setup head Esra Özaltın for her efforts and Zeynep Keleş for her contribution to the process.

Parents watching from the stands followed their children's performances with pride. With families and the people of Bodrum taking part, the event had the feel of a festival.

The club board said they would continue their youth work supporting girls growing stronger through sport, and congratulated all the athletes who took the stage, their instructors and their families.
